ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Emily L. Stevens, Ph.D., LPC, LMHC is a psychotherapist and consultant specializing in merging brain-based research, educational interventions and clinical strategies into a comprehensive approach to treatment. Her background in education and clinical experience has provided her with a unique approach to working with clients with a variety of disorders. As a consultant, she spends much of her time training educational specialists in school systems and developing neurobehavioral programs for facilities and clinics.

Dr. Stevens is a frequent speaker including numerous television news appearances, conferences, educational and radio programs. Her work was featured on NBC throughout the United States and in Canada.

Dr. Stevens has a B.S. in Educational Psychology and a M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology and a Ph.D. in Psychology. She is a National Board Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Neurotherapist. She resides in Florida and works as a consultant, presenter and trainer with facilities, school systems and organizations around the country.

She is currently the Chief Clinical Officer for Unity Recovery Group developing innovative treatment programs for clients presenting with a dual diagnosis.
