Sessions 1 & 2: An introduction to applying Single Session Therapy (SST) in Clinical Practice

Objectives

  1. Investigate the nature, effectiveness, historical relevance, and research support for Single-Session Therapy. 

  1. Evaluate the foundations, process, practice, and implications of Single-Session Therapy. 

  1. Assesses the Single-Session mindset and differentiate this mindset from other therapeutic modalities.  

  1. Evaluate how to end Single-Session Therapy, identify what follow-up is involved, and elaborate on how to implement follow-up.  

  1. Analyze and differentiate between the role of therapist and the role of client in Single-Session Therapy.
