  11. Extrapolate the Surviving Sepsis Campaign guidelines.

  12. Categorize the reversal agents and interventions for drug overdose.

  13. Demonstrate an understanding of specific drug overdoses and impact systemically.

  14. Differentiate diabetes from syndrome of inappropriate anti-diuretic hormone.

  15. Plan for a patient’s stage of chronic kidney disease using the glomerular filtration rate.

  16. Distinguish clues to life-threatening electrolyte abnormalities and how each is treated.

  17. Investigate a ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), as compared to non-ST elevation.

  18. Determine clues to a patient having a low cardiac output.

  19. Differentiate heart blocks and interventions for each.

  20. Plan to use a quick tool to interpret ABG’s.

  21. Demonstrate ability to determine an appropriate tidal volume for vented patients.

  22. Calculate the cerebral perfusion pressure.

  23. Categorize preventable and unpreventable risk factors for cerebral vascular accidents.

  24. Assess the criteria for receiving thrombolytic therapy in CVA’s.
