Deborah Dana, LCSW, LICSW

Deb Dana, LCSW, LICSW, is a clinician and consultant specializing in using the lens of Polyvagal Theory to understand and resolve the impact of trauma and create ways of working that honor the role of the autonomic nervous system. She developed the Rhythm of Regulation Clinical Training Series and lectures internationally on ways Polyvagal Theory informs clinical work. She is a founding member of the Polyvagal Institute, clinical advisor at Khiron Clinics, and an advisor to Unyte.

Lambers Fisher, MS, LMFT, MDiv, is a marriage and family therapist who has counseled individuals, couples, and families from a variety of cultural backgrounds, in private practice, non-profit organizations, as well as ministry environments. He has a strong desire to help counseling professionals in various fields feel more comfortable, competent and confident in their ability to meet the needs of whomever they have the opportunity to serve. Lambers' training experience includes facilitating workshops, guest lecturing, as well as being an adjunct instructor at Crown College on various aspects of diversity in counseling.

Lambers is the author of the award-winning book, Diversity in Clinical Practice: A Practical & Shame-Free Guide to Reducing Cultural Offenses & Repairing Cross-Cultural Relationships.

Currently, Lambers is a therapist in private practice where he effectively balances personal and professional experiences to provide unique and practical perspectives on a variety of culturally sensitive topics. Lambers supervises aspiring therapists as a board-approved supervisor for the Minnesota Board of Marriage & Family Therapists as well as the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health. Jeremy Andersen, LMHC

Jeremy Andersen, LMHC, is Education Director and Senior Clinician at Windhorse Integrative Mental Health in Northampton, Massachusetts. At Windhorse, Jeremy works with people recovering from intensely life-disrupting psychological experiences and their loved ones. As Education Director, he develops and offers trainings informed by contemplative psychology, polyvagal theory, mindfulness, and sustainable compassion practices.

Before joining Windhorse, Jeremy worked as a psychotherapist in urban and rural community mental health clinics. He has also done milieu work with children experiencing emotional distress as well as children and adults with developmental disabilities. He has been practicing meditation since 1997 and giving meditation instruction since 2006.

Jeremy has an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies, and a CAGS from Union Institute and University. He has been exploring and working with Polyvagal Theory since Deb Dana visited and presented to the Windhorse staff in 2017. Jeremy then completed the Rhythm of Regulation training with Deb in Northampton in 2019. He began as a Rhythm of Regulation course consultant in April of 2021 and has been a Rhythm of Regulation trainer since November of that year.

Tove Borgendale, LMT

Tove Borgendale has over 25 years of experience working with complex and preverbal trauma and takes a holistic approach to healing body/mind/spirit and heart. She is licensed as a massage therapist with a focus in developmental and strain trauma as it relates directly to befriending, honoring and trusting our bodies. In addition to multiple hands-on modalities, Tove draws upon Barbara Brennan energy healing, Nondual Kabbalistic Healing, Nondual Shamanism, and The Polyvagal Theory in her work with clients.

Tove is a mother, a visual artist, and a teacher of Nondual Shamanism, as well as multiple topics in The Polyvagal Theory, including assisting Deb Dana in her Rhythm of Regulation and Foundations Trainings. She loves helping people become more fully themselves.

Ashley Broderick, BSW, RSW

Ashley Broderick, BSW, RSW, is a Clinical Social Worker specializing in adolescent mental health and addictions. She works within a community mental health setting on unceded Mi’kmaq territory in New Brunswick, Canada. Prior to her work with adolescents, Ashley’s clinical practice focused on maternal and fetal health care in both a clinical and outpatient settings.

Ashley has a keen interest in the embodied nature of trauma. As such, her clinical training has primarily focused on this particular area. She has received training in a number of related fields, including Traumatic Stress Studies, Somatic Experiencing, Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga and the Attachment, Self-Regulation, Competency Framework.

It has been Polyvagal Theory and the work of Deb Dana, however, that has truly inspired and captivated her. Whether it be in her clinical practice or on a personal level, Ashley strives to weave polyvagal theory throughout her daily life.
