eBooks
Some of PESI Publishing & Media’s popular printed books are converted to electronic versions referred to as eBooks. eBooks, available in ePUB or MobiPocket formats, can be downloaded and read on a variety of eReader devices, or on computers that have the appropriate eReader software.
Video Webcasts
The Video Webcast is a seminar with audio and video streamed directly to your computer. Since this is a broadcast, you attend on a specific date and time. In many cases, you can participate in discussions and ask the speakers questions. The Video Webcast format is a great option for those who wish they could attend the live event but cannot be away from the office or for those who simply prefer to gain their CE from the comfort of their home/work rather than travel. The Video Webcast format will either offer Live Credit (Interactive) or Self-Study Credit (Home-Study/ Independent). Please check each program for the type of CE offered.
Digital Seminars
The Digital Seminar contains both a streaming option and a download option. Streaming content is accessed with an active internet connection and played back on your device. Streaming is great for watching and/or listening to your purchased content without needing to download any files to your device. It is also a great option for customers who are using a work device where downloading and saving files are restricted. You can also choose to download the seminar. Downloading the content differs from streaming in that you download the media file(s) while connected to the internet to your device. Once downloaded, you can access them for as long as you like, even without an active internet connection. They can be viewed/listened to on your computer, MP3 player, tablet, or smart phone. Downloading the content is a great option for users who want to take the course with them during periods with no internet access, for users who want to access it locally from their own device, or for users who cannot access the streaming option.
