For years, I had clients drop out of therapy unexpectedly. I’d get ghosted and wonder, What did I do wrong? What did I miss? I felt guilty, confused, and frustrated.
My energy for the work was depleted. I was getting cynical, and I was questioning my skills.
So I went on a journey to discover what hooks clients into effective therapy. What I learned caused my dropout rate to plummet. Not only did my clients stay engaged – they got better, my practice was full, and I enjoyed my work again.
Whether you’re a new therapist or an experienced one, there are key steps to anticipating and navigating dropout that you must learn in order to give your clients the best chance at success.
And let’s face it, these strategies aren’t given much attention in training programs focusing on clinical techniques – techniques that are good but that you won’t get to use if your clients stop coming to their sessions.
When you watch this exclusive 1-day seminar, I’ll share with you advanced strategies for keeping your clients engaged, targeted interventions to increase the likelihood of positive therapeutic outcomes, and effective solutions for common errors that contribute to therapist burnout.
Let’s help our clients get better!
With joy in the practice,
Dr. Bernard Schwartz
