Description

With the long-time focus on complete decongestive physiotherapy for cancer, the benefits of manual lymph drainage have been underutilized. We now know the extensive benefits of MLD for pre and post-surgery to help alleviate pain, bruising, swelling, and discomfort.

This training was curated specifically for practitioners who are already experienced with MLD techniques. You’ll begin with an exploration of the operating room and its protocols so that you can feel confident as you are alongside surgeons and procedures. You’ll also learn the important details for common plastic surgeries and how those procedures impact MLD and follow-up care. Walk away with a better understanding of compression garments and how to effectively stack healing modalities for accelerated outcomes.
