Description

With an estimated 25-40 million people worldwide subjected to human trafficking annually, it’s likely you currently have a client—hidden in plain sight—on your case load. They can’t speak out, so it is imperative that you learn the warning signs.

And, understanding trauma alone is not enough to effectively treat clients who have endured or are currently enduring this unimaginable suffering.

Their experience is compounded by brainwashing and Stockholm Syndrome, creating a uniquely intricate set of needs that demand specialized attention.

Join us for an immersive training led by renowned expert, Dr. Shari Kim, and equip yourself with the skills to recognize and empower victims and survivors of human trafficking.

Dr. Kim will guide you through the essential identification and treatment techniques necessary to address the distinctive needs of clients who have faced repeated and intrusive trauma. In this training, you will learn how to confidently and effectively:

  • Identify the signs a client has been trafficked including what to watch for in-session
  • Discern between victims of sex trafficking, labor trafficking, benefits tracking, child soldiers, and organ donation
  • Treat symptoms of PTSD, Stockholm Syndrome, and brainwashing
  • Gain a new appreciation of the role addictive substances play in trafficking organizations
  • Create the appropriate therapeutic environment to enable the best clinical outcomes
  • Facilitate post traumatic growth to help clients find meaning after trauma

As a mental health professional, you have the power to make a tangible difference.

Secure your spot now and step into your role as a compassionate, informed, and effective ally for survivors of human trafficking. The path to healing starts with you.
