Dr. Jesse Lillejord attended undergrad with a focus on chemistry – becoming Analytical Chemistry Student of the Year her third year and assisting her organic chemistry professor in O-Chem lab. Dr. Jesse was also a collegiate runner at her undergrad college. As she was immersed in the world of movement and science, she gravitated toward a graduate program that combined those same interests – chiropractic. She completed an undergraduate degree in exercise science from the University of Iowa in 2019. Dr. Elissa Cohen attended undergrad at Luther College in Decorah, IA, where she swam all four years. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology with the goal of attending physical therapy school. She had intentions of working as a sports physical therapist, working specifically with athletes. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 2011 with her Doctor of Physical Therapy and worked in general outpatient orthopedics for eight years. She grew interested in women’s health and hormonal health due to her own health struggles and decided to combine her loves of movement and women’s health and pursue a pelvic health certification. Shortly before attending the pelvic health certifications, she became pregnant with her first child.
