Description

The Internal Family System model provides play therapists to unlock a child’s emotional operating system, fostering self-awareness (Self), by helping them understand their protectors and internal systems.

When children experience dysregulation, their brain alerts the protectors of the system and protective extreme behaviors will occur. These protectors hold beliefs (burdens) and become a part of the child’s identity.

This workshop will focus on utilizing the IFS model and play therapy methods to help children release painful feelings and beliefs while cultivating healthy protective behaviors.
