Description

52-year-old John presents to the ER reporting that he has a headache that doesn’t go away, and his vision is a little blurry. He is sure it is just another sinus infection. As you take his history, you notice he slurs some of his words and suddenly slumps over. Are you prepared to jump into action as the next stroke emergency unfolds?

Patients may present with or develop neurological symptoms at any time, making it essential that you possess top-notch abilities – and the confidence – to assess these changes and intervene quickly. Stroke patients have a short window for treatment, and they depend on your expertise.

Join Ebonye Green, DNP, ACNPC-AG, CNRN, SCRN, APRN, FNCS, for this in-depth look at the advances in stroke management. The critical concepts provided will elevate your knowledge and skills to provide the best and most up-to-date care to patients and their families:

  • Technology updates that improve outcomes
  • New procedures that expand the treatment window
  • Hyper-acute care standards
  • Assessment data you should NEVER miss
  • The best medications and new stroke interventions
  • Making sense of the mimics
  • Controversial therapies that limit stroke complications

Prepare to make the difference between a good and bad outcome as you align with current best practices, improved response times, prevent suboptimal treatment outcomes, and overlooked patient education on stroke prevention and recovery. Register today!
