Donna Weeks, DNP, RNC-OB, C-EFM, APN, has over 30 years of maternal child nursing experience where she has held roles from staff nurse to manager and director. Donna’s experience includes high-risk OB, L&D, postpartum and newborn nursery. Donna has been instrumental in leading AWHONN’s Postpartum Hemorrhage Project and the Baby Friendly Initiative at her facility. Additionally, she is certified in Inpatient Obstetrics and Electronic Fetal Monitoring, is an AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring Instructor Trainer, and AWHONN Obstetrical Patient Safety Instructor Trainer.

Jamie Otremba, CNM, RN, BSN, has over 20 years of maternal child nursing experience and is currently practicing full scope nurse-midwifery at an OB/GYN clinic in suburban Minnesota. Previously, she was a medical director for the Women’s and Children’s Service Line at a large hospital and medical center in Minnesota and has practiced in women’s health care in various settings, including labor and delivery, postpartum, antenatal, and community health nursing. Jamie is a consultant on clinical practice topics, provides expert witness work on obstetric legal cases and is a preceptor for medical and advanced practice nursing students.

Sandra Asanjarani, RNC-OB, MS, NPWH, C-EFM
Sandra Asanjarani, RNC-OB, MS, NPWH, C-EFM, is the perinatal safety nurse and the team leader for the Baby-Friendly Journey at New York-Presbyterian/Queens. She earned her nurse practitioner credential in Women’s Health and Obstetrics and Gynecology, and her Perinatal Clinical Specialty Degree at Stony Brook University. Sandra has worked in the field of maternal child as an administrator, labor and delivery nurse manager, perinatal informatics specialist, and a labor and delivery nurse for over 25 years.
