Providing wound care to your patients can be overwhelming and a very complex process. The best practice guidelines are always changing. The regulatory expectations can be challenging (might even seem impossible…) to adhere to on a 24/7 basis. The risks are endless. But so are the benefits. You’re providing this specialized care because you want to see the patient improve and experience wound healing!

What signs must be considered when it’s time to consult with the provider regarding a change to the dressing order? Are you up to date on the evidence to guide treatment protocols? What key factors could have been missed regarding diet and nutrition? Do you need some fresh ideas to facilitate repositioning goals? No doubt there are many contributing pieces that must all be considered if the most complex wounds are going to have a chance at healing.

Jeri Ann Lundgren, RN, BSN, PHN, CWS, CWCN®, CPT, understands the day-to-day frustrations you encounter. Ms. Lundgren has over 27 years of wound care expertise and is excited to share her vast clinical insights to reduce your practice fears and promote improved patient outcomes. You will leave with a multitude of new strategies to implement a highly effective prevention and treatment program.
