Description

  • Master the core skills and competencies of MI
  • Encourage client change without confrontation, argument and wasted time
  • Adjust your language, attitude, style, and pace to increase client motivation
  • Overcome ambivalence with clarifying questions and interviewing techniques

Are you frustrated with client conversations that don’t produce results? Perhaps your clients are stuck, struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, or other challenges...

You can motivate lasting behavior change in your clients, in a positive and supportive way.

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is an evidence-based approach, and when mastered, it is extremely effective in eliciting positive, lasting change.

MI provides a framework that gives responsibility back to the client for change, relieving you of the assumed “burden” of changing your client. Once your clients make a commitment for change, you will be more successful in providing support and improving treatment outcomes.

Register today to learn the framework for this powerful method from Dr. William Matulich, experienced MI trainer and member of the International Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). He will teach you how MI is clinically proven, client-centered, goal directed, and an effective style of talking with people about changing their behavior. Join him for this revolutionary experience as he reveals the latest advances in MI to get the skills you need to succeed.

Full of thought provoking lecture, engaging case studies and guided instruction, you will learn the essential MI skills that your clinical practice is missing to help your clients change. Leave this mastery course armed with tools you can use in your very next session.
