Description

No clinician wants to offend their client, and therapists often feel paralyzed by the fear that they don’t know enough about their Latinx clients to be able to help them.

On the other side of the therapy room, Latinx clients seeking mental health treatment often feel misunderstood. This lack of trust and understanding means that 50% of Latinx clients drop out after the initial treatment session.

The combination of these two factors leads to a heartbreakingly high prevalence of chronic and mental health issues for Latinx clients because they’re unable to obtain the help they need.

Purchase this recording, and drastically boost your ability to effectively treat clients from the Latinx community. You’ll learn about cultural characteristics that could be affecting your assessments, as well as how to improve your diagnosis accuracy by considering those factors.

You may just want to complete this program in order to receive 3 hours of cultural competency and 3 hours of ethics credits, but you’ll finish with so much more!

You’ll walk away with a new set of skills that you can use to tailor your current interventions and boost their effectiveness, and you’ll leave with a new set of interventions that you can use in your practice tomorrow.
