ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Cheryl Aaron, PT, DPT, CWS, Cheryl Aaron has over 27 years of hands-on experience in physical therapy and wound care. Her clinical practice, specializing in all aspects of wound care, has encompassed a variety of settings, including: acute care, subacute, long-term care, and private practice. In her current role, she is responsible for the educational and consultation needs for multidisciplinary professionals. She established an advanced wound management program and is responsible for clinical competency within the wound care team for nursing and physical therapy staff.

Cheryl frequently presents to a variety of healthcare professionals on various wound care topics. As a Certified Wound Specialist by the American Academy of Wound Management and a doctoral prepared Physical Therapist, Cheryl has terrific educational and work-related experiences upon which to draw. She consistently receives outstanding evaluations based on her ability to provide the latest available clinical information to optimize wound healing and prevention.
