Fugen Neziroglu, PhD, ABBP, is the co-founder and executive director of the Bio Behavioral Institute in Great Neck, NY, as well as adjunct full professor in Psychology at Hofstra University and at The Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. She has presented and published over 200 papers in scientific journals and is the author and co-author of fifteen books on obsessive compulsive related disorders, including Body Dysmorphic Disorder: Advances in Psychotherapy, Overcoming Body Dysmorphic Disorder: A Cognitive Behavioral Approach to Reclaiming Your Life, and Body Dysmorphic Disorder: A Treatment Manual. She has appeared on numerous TV programs and presented nationally and internationally. Dr. Neziroglu is board certified in cognitive and behavior therapy from the American Board of Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology, a Fellow of ABBP’s Academy and of ABCT. She is a member of many national and international societies and is on the scientific advisory board of the International Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation (IOCDF) and the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), and President of OCDNY.
