  • Build resiliency against trauma, guilt and shame through mindfulness and self-compassion techniques
  • Eliminate shame with a step-by-step treatment process

Attend this seminar and learn powerful strategies to treat clients with complex trauma whose treatment is stalled by issues of guilt and shame. You will discover how to combat overlapping problems such as self-esteem, self-worth, self-indulgence, and self-care to eliminate the hold that guilt and shame has on your client. Tim Worden, Ph.D., expert and speaker on resolving guilt and shame, will teach you a step-by-step treatment plan that will help your clients increase their self-acceptance to resolve shame. You will learn how to empower your clients to apply self-acceptance in addressing related issues such as judgment and criticism of others, the need to impress others, conflict resolution, relationship issues and beliefs about oneself.

Dr. Worden’s strategies are founded on the neurophysiology of change that will give you a new perspective on how to address guilt and shame. This unique and cutting-edge workshop, influenced by a neurophysiological conception of change, bridges psychotherapeutic approaches with useful tools to work with the difficult issues of entrenched guilt and shame. Dr. Worden will include lectures, example role-plays, explanation of experiential exercises, handouts, and discussions in this must attend seminar!
