PERRY F. FLYNN, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, is the consultant to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and an associate professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. He is the chair of the ASHA SLP Advisory Council and member of the ASHA Board of Directors. Mr. Flynn is the director of the Equestrian Sport Development Team of Special Olympics North Carolina, a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding instructor, and an Operation Smile volunteer. He is a frequent presenter on the topic of service delivery models for SLPs in school settings and has published several articles in the ASHA Leader, Language, Speech, and Hearing Services in Schools as well as a variety of other journals and ASHA publications.
