Description

  • Effectively guide couples from conflict to closeness
  • Navigate through individual issues, such as, mood and personality disorders, in couples therapy
  • Highly effective in-session and at-home assignments for couples

You’ll walk away from this workshop with the knowledge of how to implement a wide array of the most effective models and approaches in couples therapy today. You will learn how to use a “Couple Flow Chart” that begins with the key information to gather, and leads to the most effective treatments to use, that will guide your clients from conflict to connection.

In this seminar, Kathleen Mates-Youngman M.A., author, couples specialist, and developer of Connection Authenticity Vulnerability Therapy™, will offer a roadmap through the three stages of couples therapy. She will share and teach the proven strategies specific to each stage that will allow you to repair the relationships of the couples you treat. You will leave with the tools to guide your clients to deeper connection, greater authenticity, and the vulnerability needed to grow closer and healthier.

Kathleen will demonstrate how she balances empirically-based treatments, clinical expertise, mindfulness and intuition, to help you manage even the most difficult couples.

After attending this workshop, couples you work with will be able to:
