Join the flagship ACT training program that has transformed
the practices of thousands of therapists worldwide!

Back by popular demand: the most advanced training in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.

Offered only a few times per year, and only live in-person, the ACT Bootcamp is a 4-day skills-based experiential learning that will fully prepare you to apply ACT in a variety of clinical settings.

The best part is that, as a process-based approach to therapy, it can stand on its own or provide a foundation that can be integrated with ANY approach you already use– whether you practice DBT, EMDR, CBT, or IFS....

....And it can provide a highly practical framework for exactly what to focus on in treatment regardless of what symptoms or diagnoses your clients may have – from anxiety and depression to complex PTSD and more.

This is your chance to work directly with the co-developer of ACT, Steven C. Hayes, one of the most cited psychologists in the world, along with three of the world’s leading ACT Trainers in the most comprehensive ACT training available.

This 4-day experience is designed to welcome new and advanced practitioners, guiding you in the practical application of ACT with a variety of clients and cases. You’ll see just how ACT and process-based approaches can fit into any therapy practice to help you master:

  • Exactly what change processes (not symptoms) to target in therapy
  • How to adapt the tools you already use, including CBT, DBT, IFS, and more, to create a new and flexible approach for every client
  • How to track your client’s progress on the things that matter most to them

This premier, live in-person training experience is not available anywhere online. It’s never been filmed and will not be available as an online course.

There is simply no better place to experience how to use Acceptance & Commitment Therapy from start to finish than ACT Bootcamp.

Due to the experiential nature of this training, we are limiting registration, and we fully expect this in-person only training to sell out. So REGISTER TODAY to take advantage of this rare and exclusive training experience.

Why Training in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
Matters to Every Clinician Practicing Psychotherapy

It’s clear that, despite decades of research, client outcomes in psychotherapy haven’t actually improved.

What’s worse, the proliferation of new psychiatric diagnoses and manualized, symptom-based therapies may actually be moving us even further in the wrong direction.

ACT is an evidence-based alternative to protocol and diagnosis-based psychotherapy. It’s process-based, meaning it’s a model that doesn’t rely on diagnoses, but on what is actually going on within a client and in their world.

It's based on over 40 years of robust behavioral research that is built around what’s actually going on in a person when they get better in therapy.

It turns out there are a small handful of things going on – at least 6 core processes – that accurately predict long-term outcomes in therapy.

What’s even more exciting is that by targeting these core processes, rather than just symptoms, we can move away from strict diagnosis-based protocols and truly create a truly personalized therapy for each client.

That’s what ACT is – one of the world’s first and only process-based therapies that targets change processes within clients.

And it’s approaches like this that may be the future of psychotherapy, and one that finally gives therapists the flexibility to do what they do best and the tools they need to improve clients’ real lives.

Detailed Schedule

Introduction to ACT and the Extended Psychological Flexibility Model
Featuring Miranda Morris, PhD | Click here for information about Miranda Morris

Psychological inflexibility is at the heart of human suffering. You’ll gain essential keys for promoting flexibility with the six core processes of ACT: flexible sense of self; cognitive flexibility; emotional flexibility; flexible attention to the now; values and chosen purpose; and behavioral flexibility to establish values-based habit. Through experiential exercises you’ll learn how to help clients with the virtuous cycle of trying new things, learning what works best, and retaining those ways of being and doing that best foster their needs and values in a given situation.

ACT Model and Methods
Featuring Robyn D. Walser, PhD | Click here for information about Robyn Walser

A therapeutic stance of non-engagement with the control agenda can be difficult to maintain until you master the skills that allow the therapy relationship to be a vehicle for change. In Day 2, you’ll learn how to integrate ACT into your practice in realistic, flexible, and practical ways as you embody the essential characteristics of the therapeutic relationship.

ACT Skills-Building Intensive
Featuring Steven C. Hayes, PhD | Click here for information about Steven C. Hayes

Go deeper into the model with rounds of clinical skills-building exercises and feedback. You’ll enhance your fluidity and gain specific tools and techniques that will allow you to do individual functional analysis to choose optimal, customized treatment targets and use flexibility in your moment-to-moment interactions with clients.

Therapist Wisdom and Bringing the Process of Change to Light
Featuring Diana Hill, PhD | Click here for information about Diana Hill

Get the clarity you need with a powerful roadmap to support you in individualizing your approach for each client. You’ll learn network modeling so that you can go beyond diagnoses to understand each unique client’s suffering and how to meet them with compassion and commitment.
