The goal of this activity is for learners to be able to identify different pain conditions in children, to better understand pain in the context of child development, and to be better able to respond appropriately to pediatric pain with nonpharmacological and pharmacologic treatments. Together, we will explore evidence-based strategies for the effective assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pain in children.
