ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Lane Pederson, Psy.D. is the founder and CEO of Dialectical Behavior Therapy National Certification and Accreditation Association (DBTNCAA) and co-owner and director of Clinical Services of Mental Health Systems, PC (MHS), one of the largest DBT-specialized clinics in the upper Midwest. Dr. Pederson has presented on DBT, Personality Disorders, Self-Injurious Behaviors (SIB), Treatment-Resistant Clients, and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) with a common emphasis on practical approaches to complex client situations. He has provided consultation related to personality disorders across all levels of care and has provided consultation to therapists, teams, case-management agencies, and mental health clinics. He has also developed DBT programs for adolescents and adults.
Dr. Pederson takes a positive, strength-based approach with clients and has a fresh and accessible take on working with clients who have personality disorders. Knowledgeable, humorous, and sometimes irreverent, he will help you understand and apply evidence-based skills in your practice.
