Kirby P. Williams, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner who obtained psychiatric training and education from the University of Virginia. Working as a mental health practitioner since 2012, she has been a board-certified PMHNP for over a decade. She has worked in various mental health specialties, including acute inpatient care, private practice, community mental health, intensive outpatient, community crisis stabilization, and primary care psych consultant. Kirby has taught graduate and undergraduate psychiatric nursing courses and enjoys mentoring and supporting future psychiatric nurse practitioners.
