This program is designed to meet the continuing education requirements for Physical Therapists and Physical Therapists Assistants in the state of Georgia. Each licensee is responsible for taking courses which relate to the practice of physical therapy and are beyond the licensee's present level of knowledge and competence. Licensees must keep CE documentation in case of an audit. This intermediate level activity consists of 12.0 clock hours of instruction.


Alaska Physical Therapists & Physical Therapist Assistants

CE credit is available. This course consists of 12.0 continuing education credit hours for Alaska Physical Therapists. The Board Rule 12 AAC 54.420 confirms acceptance of continuing education programs that are recognized by other state physical therapy licensing boards. PESI, Inc. is recognized by the Physical Therapy Board of California as an approval agency to approve providers.


Arizona Physical Therapists & Physical Therapist Assistants

CE credit is available. The Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy recognizes continuing competence activities that have been approved by any state PT association or national medical/health care association (e.g., AOTA, ASHA). This activity consists of 12.0 clock hours of instruction applicable for physical therapists.

Dr. Jesse Lillejord attended undergrad with a focus on chemistry – becoming Analytical Chemistry Student of the Year her third year and assisting her organic chemistry professor in O-Chem lab. Dr. Jesse was also a collegiate runner at her undergrad college. As she was immersed in the world of movement and science, she gravitated toward a graduate program that combined those same interests – chiropractic. She graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2009. Shortly thereafter she married and had two children of her own. This transition into the world of motherhood created a passion for perinatal and pediatric care. She created the first specialty chiropractic clinic in the state – CHIRO FOR MOMS in 2018 with the creation of CHIRO FOR KIDZ to follow in 2020. Dr. Cassidy Vitzthum grew up in a small town in northern Iowa. She started college as a student athlete, participating in track and field at Morningside College. She completed an undergraduate degree in exercise science from the University of Iowa in 2019. During the earlier years of undergrad, she was pursuing a career in western medicine, spending time as a medical scribe in various medical settings. After many eye-opening experiences, she made the decision to shift to chiropractic She completed her schooling at Northwestern Health Sciences while focusing on her passion for women’s health and pediatric care. She completed her Master of Science in physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada, and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in human kinetics with honours from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada. Dr. Elissa Cohen attended undergrad at Luther College in Decorah, IA, where she swam all four years. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology with the goal of attending physical therapy school. She had intentions of working as a sports physical therapist, working specifically with athletes. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 2011 with her Doctor of Physical Therapy and worked in general outpatient orthopedics for eight years. She grew interested in women’s health and hormonal health due to her own health struggles and decided to combine her loves of movement and women’s health and pursue a pelvic health certification. Shortly before attending the pelvic health certifications, she became pregnant with her first child.
