Become a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II)

Implement "top-down" and "bottom-up" techniques into your practice
and boost your career opportunities with an internationally recognized certification.

Even the best evidence-based treatments can fall short when your trauma clients dissociate, become numb, and recall specifics in a “cold-hard facts” kind of way.

And when your clients can't connect their traumatic memories to actual feelings, their resistance to therapy can grow and therapeutic progress creeps to a halt.

After more than 35 years of combined practice, Megan Salar, LCSW, ACADC, CCTP-II, EMDR-C, and Arielle Schwartz, PhD, CCTP-II, both international trauma trainers/authors, know the biggest mistake you can make as a clinician is jumping too quickly into therapies and taking the assembly line approach to treating trauma — you may be doing all the right things, but at all the wrong times!

That's because working with trauma is complex; it requires clinicians to have enormous flexibility to help clients move between states of exploration and safety, between talk and bodily sensations, and between visiting the past while feeling alive in the present.

The good news is, Dr. Arielle Schwartz and Megan Salar have found the key to simplifying treatment and getting consistent results... and they've carefully curated this online course to share their secrets of trauma treatment success.

Register today and through real-life case studies and video instruction, you'll learn their insight into how you can integrate the latest advances in neuroscience with evidence-based modalities like DBT, CBT, EMDR, Somatic Psychotherapy, Parts Work, and more to customize treatment plans for each of your clients.

PLUS… When you complete this course, you'll be eligible to become a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), and we'll cover the cost (a $249.99 value)!

Step into the life awaiting you as a
Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II (CCTP-II)

This training meets the post-graduate educational requirements to become a Level 1 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Level 2 Complex Trauma Treatment Professional (CCTP-II).

What is the Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II Certification?
This certification is intended for the professional who has an existing knowledge about trauma and an overview of trauma treatment modalities (CCTP Certification or evidence of equivalency). The Level II Certification builds from that foundation and adds skills and tools designed to promote trauma healing. Training that underpins the certification is reflective not only of the challenges of treating "fragmented", dissociative, individuals, but also of the unique factors that negatively influence the clinician's therapeutic approach, such as:

  • Internal conflicts that patients can't straightforwardly express in therapy.
  • Lack of control over certain behaviors.
  • The clinician's confusion (often) with clients who may present in therapy as "not the same person" moment to moment, day to day.

Training should include the therapeutic complexities that show up with clients who have experienced repeated relational violations, such as difficulty with trust, boundary violations, and early attachment related issues.

To become a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), you just need to complete 3 simple steps:

  • Step 1: Complete this training at your convenience.
  • Step 2: Complete the continuing education quiz and instantly print your certificate of completion.
  • Step 3: Submit the Certification Questionnaire included in this training, and your application is complete.*
