Hand selected by Deb Dana, the Foundations of Polyvagal senior trainers and consultants will guide you through this immersive 6-month training to help you gain the confidence and expertise you need to successfully integrate Polyvagal Theory into your clinical practice.

Deb's training is divided into five comprehensive training modules with over 49 hours of LIVE training, LIVE Q&As, recorded lectures, readings, plus, hands-on large and small group work.
Upon registration, the training will kick off with preliminary self-study content from Deb. Then on March 26, the self-study component for Module 1 will be available in your portal. On April 8, we come together for the first live virtual training. Subsequent self-study modules with Deb will be available in your portal after each virtual live training module.
As you move through the program, Deb's senior trainers and consultants will walk alongside you through live trainings, experiential and consultation sessions—module by module—to bring the theory to life in their teaching, practices and in the way they navigate the world.
In addition to Deb's presence throughout the training through the recorded content, Deb will offer two 90-minute Q&A sessions during the series. Along with reviewing the written and recorded material, you will be asked to complete practice assignments between training dates to gain confidence and expertise.
You'll also get lifetime access to Deb's comprehensive training materials, including her recorded sessions, slides, handouts, and exercises she's developed to add to your clinical toolbox and use with your clients.

Peggy has worked and studied with Pia Mellody and is a certified PIT Therapist (Post-Induction Therapy). She completed the three-year Somatic Experiencing Professional Training Program based on Peter Levine's groundbreaking research on the treatment of trauma. She is a NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Master's Level Clinician. Peggy’s most recent passion is her work with Polyvagal Theory. After studying the theory based on Stephen Porges’ work and having the opportunity to assist Deb Dana in teaching the theory, Peggy now teaches the foundations of the theory to students around the world under the supervision of Deb Dana.
Peggy works with adolescents and adults in individual, group, couples, and family therapy. She has been in private practice for over thirty years and has extensive clinical expertise with diverse populations and has worked with multidisciplinary staffs. Peggy’s clinical work history includes working in treatment and hospital settings as well as private practice. She conducts clinical trainings on a variety of subjects and provides clinical supervision.
Drawing from her own recovery, education, spiritual journey, and the wisdom of her many beloved mentors, Peggy works primarily from a family systems orientation and is Polyvagal guided. Her goal has consistently been to help individuals identify and build on their own strengths to achieve their personal goals.Tove Borgendale, LMT, has over 25 years of experience working with complex and preverbal trauma and takes a holistic approach to healing body/mind/spirit and heart. She is licensed as a massage therapist with a focus in developmental and strain trauma as it relates directly to befriending, honoring and trusting our bodies. In addition to multiple hands-on modalities, Tove draws upon Barbara Brennan energy healing, Nondual Kabbalistic Healing, Nondual Shamanism, and The Polyvagal Theory in her work with clients.
Tove is a mother, a visual artist, and a teacher of Nondual Shamanism, as well as multiple topics in The Polyvagal Theory, including assisting Deb Dana in her Rhythm of Regulation and Foundations Trainings.
