Beginning in 1993, I had the privilege of working very closely with Dr. Francine Shapiro, the originator of EMDR, and worked as the Director of Training for Dr. Shapiro's EMDR Institute. Since then, I've authored several book chapters and articles on EMDR therapy and founded The Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy in Washington, DC.
