It’s a high-stress life for teens today. The demands of friends and social life, school, work and family can easily become overwhelming for adolescents. On top of that, technology and social media are creating new opportunities for stress that are pushing teens to their breaking point.

Many teens are simply not equipped with the healthy coping mechanisms they need to effectively manage this stress, leaving them irritable, angry, in pain and out of control. Without healthy interventions, their young lives may be negatively impacted by anxiety, depression, or self-harm — and could even lead to suicide.

Luckily, the explosion of Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program has revealed an increasing number of physical and mental health benefits from mindfulness practices — benefits and results that can be life-changing for teens

Join Gina Biegel, creator of MBSR-T, and earn your certificate in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Teens. In this 10-week online course, you will learn how to implement Gina's systematic protocol in your practice, schools and community to teach teens mindfulness skills and powerful tools for coping with stress. This comprehensive course will give you the strategies you need to help transform the lives of the teens you work with.

Teach teens to live rather than just exist...
Give teens the positive coping skills necessary to manage life's problems.

For over a decade, clinicians around the world have been using the evidence-based MBSR-T program to improve the quality of life for teens and adolescents. In this comprehensive 10-week online certificate course, Gina M. Biegel, MA, LMFT, will provide in-depth training on her MBSR-T program.

Tailored specifically to meet the developmental needs of adolescents, the MBSR-T approach uses language, references and stories relevant to adolescents — to help teens shift their perspective and become more aware of their intentions, attention and attitude.

Gina will guide you step-by-step through her 8-session systematic approach, fully preparing and certifying you to facilitate the MBSR-T program with your clients and students in clinics, schools and the community.

Here's what teens who've taken the Stressed Teen's program have to say:

My self-esteem has grown and I no longer beat myself down as much. I think more realistically and catch my mind when it wanders, especially in negative thoughts. I’m a lot more patient with people and put myself in their shoes. I’ve realized that I can accomplish anything.

I learned how to deal with my stress differently, which helped me stop cutting. I know it was my choice to stop, but this class gave me tools to deal with stress instead of cutting.

This class was amazing. The subjects we talked about in this class made me feel as if a bus had hit me, allowing me to look at things in a totally different way. It allowed me to let go, think positive, and let me be free and comfortable with my disability. I can only see myself succeeding from this point.

I am a better thinker, a better friend, a better learner, and have allowed myself to care about the careless. I believe this class helped me to grow and that the different exercises I learned here will be with me for the rest of my life.
