Alisha Hurlbert, LCPC

Hurlbert Counseling, LLC

Alisha Hurlbert, LCPC, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, licensed in both Idaho and Washington State. She has been practicing for nearly 13 years and loves this work. Prior to becoming a counselor, Alisha worked with homeless populations; at risk teens; single moms recovering from homelessness with their young kiddos; college students; preschoolers and kindergartners. She wanted to become equipped in helping people emerge from the darkest places of being human, and generally support others in becoming their best selves, so she earned her Master’s in Counseling from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon.

Professionally, Alisha has worked at Columbia River Mental Health, a community mental health clinic; the Portland DBT Institute, where she served on the Teen & Family Team; Lacamas Counseling in Camas, WA, a group of private practitioners supporting each other; and now has her own private practice in Eagle, Idaho as of October 2021, where she gets to work with teens and adults. She is excited to be part of this training to help others befriend their own nervous systems, spreading regulation and kindness world-wide.
