Allison Krauss-Randall, LCSW


Allison Krauss-Randall, LCSW is a graduate Widener University with a Masters of Social Work. For over 10 years, she has had a successful private practice in Wilmington, Delaware where she specializes in grief, trauma, attachment and loss working with both children and families. Prior to this, Allison worked with agencies providing grief and loss support to children and adults as well as worked at the Division of the Family Services.

Allison is an expert in the field of attachment and childhood trauma and for the last 5 years, has completed over a hundred assessments for children in foster care and their caregivers to determine attachment and caregiver strengths that can help mitigate attachment and early trauma issues. Allison has provided trainings and consultations for agencies and professionals in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware regarding children and teens who have experienced trauma, grief and attachment issues.

She has been published in Fostering Families magazine, a publication for foster parents and providers. She has presented at Attach, a national conference focusing on attachment and trauma involving children. Allison is on the Board of Directors of ACT (About Child Trauma) and is dedicated to helping children heal from early trauma and supporting their families as they navigate through the difficult, but ultimately rewarding, process.
