Anna Liza Rodriguez, MSN, MHA, RN, OCN®


Anna Liza Rodriguez, MSN, MHA, RN, OCN®, is currently Director of Oncology Programs, a 350-bed teaching hospital in Chicago. She has over 15 years of oncology experience and is currently responsible for ensuring quality patient care and outcomes for oncology patients. Ms. Rodriguez assisted with design and implementation of a breast care navigation pathway ensuring care of the patient from screening to survivorship. She implemented a patient navigation program with a multidisciplinary team approach to include a breast care coordinator, nurse navigator, and oncology social worker. She also successfully lead cancer programs in achieving accreditation from the American College of Surgeons (ACOS) Commission on Cancer (CoC) and National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).

Ms. Rodriguez has experience in developing and facilitating annual competency trainings for oncology nurses. She co-developed an organization-specific “Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Competency Based Training Manual” for nurses. In addition, Ms. Rodriguez is an experienced speaker, and is a published author of multiple oncology abstracts, articles, and book chapters.
