Ashley Broderick, BSW, RSW


Ashley Broderick, BSW, RSW, is a Clinical Social Worker specializing in adolescent mental health and addictions. She works within a community mental health setting on unceded Mi’kmaq territory in New Brunswick, Canada. Prior to her work with adolescents, Ashley’s clinical practice focused on maternal and fetal health care in both a clinical and outpatient settings.

Ashley has a keen interest in the embodied nature of trauma. As such, her clinical training has primarily focused on this particular area. She has received training in a number of related fields, including Traumatic Stress Studies, Somatic Experiencing, Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga and the Attachment, Self-Regulation, Competency Framework.

It has been Polyvagal Theory and the work of Deb Dana, however, that has truly inspired and captivated her. Whether it be in her clinical practice or on a personal level, Ashley strives to weave polyvagal theory throughout her daily life.
