Beth Michaelson, RN, APN, BSN, MSN, DNP, works full time as a hospitalist advanced practice nurse practitioner. In this role, she works with cardiac, medical and surgical patients from admission to discharge. She also works part time as a Pulmonary/Critical Care hospitalist advanced practice clinician. Previously, she has worked as a NP in Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular Medicine/Surgery and Hospitalist roles. As an RN, she worked on the Cardiac Step down unit, the Cardiac ICU and in the outpatient Cardiology office. She has collected keen insights throughout the course of her career and has been invited to share her expertise through continuing nursing education events and as a faculty member for NP students.
