Cynthia Okoro, MS, APRN, FNP-C


Cynthia Okoro, MS, APRN, FNP-C, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, working full time at a family practice clinic in one of the largest medical centers in Texas. She additionally serves as Alternate Director of Nurses for a well-established home health agency in Dallas, TX and as a faculty member for baccalaureate nursing students.

Her past work experience includes medical intensive care, home health, family medicine, and urgent care. As an inpatient staff nurse and home health nurse, she was responsible for educating employees on infection prevention and implementation of infection control measures. In her current work as a nurse practitioner, she has extensive experience in evaluating and treating a multitude of acute and chronic infections. Out of high regard by her peers, she is often called on for consultation work.

Cynthia is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University (TWU) Dallas campus with her master’s degree in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, is currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing and maintains membership in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
