Evelisse Capó, PharmD, DipACLM
Dr. Evelisse Capó is a Doctor in Pharmacy and a certified Lifestyle Medicine professional with extensive experience in health and nutrition education. Originally from Bayamón, Puerto Rico, she earned her PharmD from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Witnessing the limitations of conventional treatments in managing chronic diseases, Dr. Capó pursued further education in plant-based nutrition and health coaching.
As the Executive Director of Spanish Programs and Culinary Content for the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, she brings her expertise to a global audience. She is also certified to teach programs by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. Dr. Capó holds a Professional Plant-Based Certification from Rouxbe Cooking School and is a graduate of the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies' eCornell Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate.
Dr. Capó's mission is to educate healthcare professionals on the power of plant-based nutrition to prevent and reverse chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disease. She combines her clinical background with practical dietary strategies, making her a credible and authoritative voice in the field of plant-based health.
