Geri Ann Sokell

Geri Ann Sokell, PT, M.Ed., DPT, CPI, CYT, has worked as a physical therapist for three decades. In addition to being a certified Pilates and Yoga instructor, Geri Ann is an assistant professor at Tennessee State University. Previously, she was the director of clinical education/assistant professor at East Tennessee State University. Her experience in physical therapy has been in a variety of settings including outpatient, sports medicine, acute care, long-term care and home health. In addition, she has conducted research in neuroplasticity at the Cleveland VA. She received her DPT at Marymount University, and is an APTA Advanced Credentialed Clinical Instructor (ACCIP) as well as a trainer for the CI credentialing course.
