Johanna Hartlein is an Advance Practice Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Movement Disorders. Johanna has spent over 10 years in this field as both a researcher and a clinician. She coordinates and performs Movement Disorders-related research involving imaging (functional MRI, PET), cognitive behavioral research, and NIH-sponsored pharmaceutical studies.
Johanna not only practices evidence-based care, she takes an active role in the establishment of that evidence and has been a collaborator and co-author on many research publications. In addition to her clinical experience, Johanna is passionate about Movement Disorders because she has a strong personal and family history of these disorders.
