Katelyn Reed, MS, is a limited license psychologist/ psychotherapist at Thriving Minds Behavioral Health in Brighton, Michigan. Katelyn completed her M.S. degree in Clinical Behavioral Psychology at Eastern Michigan University, where she focused on behavioral and cognitive-behavioral interventions for children and adolescents. She is particularly passionate about treating children with anxiety concerns, including Selective Mutism.
Upon beginning her current position at Thriving Minds Behavioral Health, Katelyn received extensive didactic and in vivo training in the expert assessment and treatment of Selective Mutism. In practice, she provides individual treatment, parent coaching, and school consultation for children with Selective Mutism and their families. Furthermore, Katelyn works with children and families to address other concerns arising from Selective Mutism including social skill deficits and paruresis. She is a member of Selective Mutism Group.
