Kathryn L. Ramm, OTR/L, MS

Kathryn L. Ramm, OTR/L, MS, has been a practicing occupational therapist for 40 years, and has practiced across the United States including in Michigan, Ohio, California, Alaska and West Virginia. Ms. Ramm graduated from the Ohio State University with her degree in Occupational Therapy in 1973. While there, she studied at The Nisonger Center, focusing on special needs populations. She received her Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Southern California in 2002 and her Master's Degree in Public Health from Walden University in 2006. Ms. Ramm has been an Item writer for the NBCOT, was honored as a Diplomatic Fellow of the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine and has been a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the American Public Health Association.

Ms. Ramm is currently working in the field of home health, developing new strategies of integrating cross-disciplinary approaches to safe in-home recovery for patients with brain injuries and other diagnoses. She has years of experience in a variety of treatment settings including out-patient, in-patient, virtual/tele-medicine, home health care, nursing home care, and assisted living facilities. She has extensive experience in elder-care therapies, having developed program and safety guidelines for working with seniors' unique needs in assisted living and in-home care.
