Kelly McDaniel, LPC, NCC

Kelly McDaniel, LPC, NCC, CSAT, is a licensed professional counselor, best-selling author, and psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience.

In her first book Ready to Heal (2008) she named an attachment injury as “Mother Hunger” and started a movement. Women resonated with the concept and wanted treatment. Since then, she’s devoted herself to nurturing insecure attachment and maternal deprivation in adult women.

Her book has been praised by mental health professionals and readers alike for its compassionate approach, practical insights, and groundbreaking research.

McDaniel is a sought-after speaker and workshop facilitator. She has presented on topics related to attachment theory, trauma healing, and relationship dynamics at conferences and events throughout the United States and internationally.
