Kevin Eldridge, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, BCS-F
Kevin Eldridge, Ph.D, CCC-SLP, BCS-F and Michael J. Retzinger, M.S., CCC-SLP, BCS-F, are licensed, certified speech and language pathologists who are Board Certified Specialists in Fluency disorders. Both presenters are people who stutter who have mastered natural speech as a result of overcoming the devastating communication apprehension associated with a communication disorder. Kevin and Michael have presented their ideas to speech-language pathologists and other healthcare and school professionals both nationally and internationally. They have enthusiastically shared their ideas with self-help groups, parent groups, and graduate clinicians since meeting almost 25 years ago. This duo is known for being both informative and entertaining.
Kevin began working with people with communication disorders and their families 25 years ago. He served as chair of the Specialty Board on Fluency Disorders, editor for publications related to communication disorders, and is a member of the Training and Treatment Program Faculty for Camp Shout Out- a therapeutic camp for children who stutter and training opportunity for clinicians and graduate students. Kevin is in private practice.
