Lauren Zeefe, MEd, LPC, CT, is a licensed professional counselor, thanatologist, and grief management specialist, with a national certification in Thanatology (CT) in Death, Dying and Bereavement as a certified death educator and grief counselor. Ms. Zeefe has provided program development, staff and volunteer training, community education and outreach, crisis intervention, counseling, and group facilitation in grief and bereavement. She lectures locally and nationally on grief, loss and bereavement. Ms. Zeefe provides seminars, training and program development in death education. She earned her BA in psychology from Ursuline College in Ohio and her M.Ed. in counseling and human development from Kent State University in Ohio. She has published, Death Education: Teaching Staff, Patients and Families About the Dying Process,Hospice and Palliative Care: Concepts and Practice and a children’s grief story and activity book When I Leave.
