Madison Simons, PsyD
Madison Simons, PhD, is a gastrointestinal psychologist in the Digestive Disease and Surgery Institute at the Cleveland Clinic and she specializes in treating motility related digestive conditions. She received her doctoral degree from Regent University and completed a predoctoral internship in health psychology at the Jesse Brown VA in Chicago, IL. She completed a fellowship in psychogastroenterology at Northwestern University studying the role of cognitive and psychological flexibility in esophageal conditions and the relationship between symptom anxiety and symptom severity in digestive disease. Her research and clinical interests include the overlap between gastrointestinal and gynecologic conditions including endometriosis and understanding the precipitants and consequences of dietary modification in digestive disease.
