Marvin P. Royal II, PT, DPT, CMP, CSCS, NASM-CP
Marvin Royal has been in the fitness industry for over twelve years as an All-American athlete, strength and conditioning coach, certified personal trainer, fitness and health consultant, and physical therapist. After receiving his Advance Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston and an Advanced Master's degree in Physical Therapy from the Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, Marvin began consulting on topics including sports injuries, youth and adult fitness training and obesity. He served as strength and conditioning coach for Sacred Heart's Division IAA field hockey, football, cheerleading, and dance teams. Also, he served as one of the head coaches for Sports International Football Clinics.
Dr. Royal is the co-founder of Integrated Rehabilitation Wellness, Strength and Conditioning Services. He is now the senior lead therapist and Clinical Director at Olympic Physical Therapy in Egg Harbor Township and Linwood, New Jersey, where he specializes in orthopedic-sports medicine care and performs home care. He advocates for a "care coordination team" to treat in a multi-interdisciplinary design to achieve optimal outcomes. Marvin nurtures young athletes to enhance their athletic talents and assist them with college recruiting through his sports clinics. He also serves as the Center Coordinator of Clinical Education at Olympic Physical Therapy, a clinical instructor for physical therapy students, and an adjunct professor at Atlantic Cape Community College, New Jersey.
Marvin is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, National Sports and Condition Association, and National Academy of Sports Medicine. Marvin combines the latest in evidence-based medicine, cutting-edge training techniques and program design, and his energized teaching style makes him a sought-after presenter on many topics in the healthcare arena.
