Maureen G. Sullivan-Tevault, RN, MS, BSN, CEN, CDE, has over 35 years of nursing experience with the majority of her career spent working in emergency services. She has been employed in a variety positions from staff nurse to ED Manager, Trauma Coordinator, Stroke Program Manager, Cardiology Nurse Navigator and Director of Staff Education. Additionally, Maureen works as a legal nurse consultant and health care consultant. She has dual certifications as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association and the American Association of Diabetes Educators. Maureen has authored two books on healthcare issues and also writes monthly health columns for The Examiner and Health Triangle magazine.
