Kevin Eldridge, Ph.D, CCC-SLP, BCS-F and Michael J. Retzinger, M.S., CCC-SLP, BCS-F, are licensed, certified speech and language pathologists who are Board Certified Specialists in Fluency disorders. Both presenters are people who stutter who have mastered natural speech as a result of overcoming the devastating communication apprehension associated with a communication disorder. Kevin and Michael have presented their ideas to speech-language pathologists and other healthcare and school professionals both nationally and internationally. They have enthusiastically shared their ideas with self-help groups, parent groups, and graduate clinicians since meeting almost 25 years ago. This duo is known for being both informative and entertaining.

Michael’s reputation is that of a skilled practitioner implementing strategies for effective speaking skills resulting in international recognition. He has over 20 years of experience working in the public school setting delivering successful therapy with children and young adults experiencing a wide variety of communication disorders. Since 1996, Retz has been in private practice, specializing in working with children and their families, challenged by autism, down syndrome and fluency disorders.
