Pat Bielecki, MSN, RNC-OB, APN/CNS
Pat Bielecki, MSN, RNC-OB, APN/CNS, has extensive clinical experience in perinatal nursing. She is a designated instructor for both AWHONN’s Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring courses and has developed a computer-based learning course for her healthcare system that is an annual requirement for all physicians and nurses responsible for fetal monitoring. She is also a lead instructor for the S.T.A.B.L.E. program, maintains ob-related certifications, and has facilitated a 2-day certification review course for both Inpatient Obstetrics and Maternal/Newborn examinations. She received her BSN and MSN from Northern Illinois University and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nursing, Academy of Neonatal Nursing, and the National Association of Neonatal Nurses. Her past positions include: staff nurse, manager, director, and nurse specialist in both Level II and Level III facilities.
A lively and interesting speaker, she has been a requested presenter for healthcare audiences and the March of Dimes on a variety of pertinent perinatal topics, including: fetal monitoring, diabetes in pregnancy, perinatal obesity, perinatal codes, and other high-risk obstetrics topics at various conferences. Pat has a wealth of expertise that she looks forward to sharing with you through highlighted case studies and valuable insights gained throughout her nursing career. She currently is the clinical nurse specialist for a large health care system in the Midwest and facilitates system-wide staff development in both low- and high-risk obstetric topics.
