Polly McGee


Dr Polly McGee (they/them) is an author, trauma-trained leadership consultant and somatic psychotherapist. They spend their time in organisations building trauma informed leadership capacity and psychologically safe cultures, speaking and leading workshops, and working in their private practice with individuals with complex trauma using IFS as a central methodology for treatment.

Polly founded for profit for purpose initiative Compassionate Grounds to raise funding for direct intervention regional trauma therapy and believes with their whole Self in the power of curiousity, courage and compassion to change lives. Polly has a PhD in Gender Studies focused on narratives of non-binary identity, and a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Their person-centered trauma podcast Polly’s Vague Theories can be found where all good pods are streamed.
