Child and Adolescent Therapy
Rocky Spino, M.S., NCC, LPC, is a national board certified (NCC) licensed professional counselor (LPC). He is a specialist in providing mental health services to children and adolescents, and equally skilled at relating to concerns of parents.
Rocky's clinical training and experience have been developed in educational, outpatient, and residential treatment settings. In addition to counseling hundreds of families over nearly 20 years of practice, he has served as clinical director of the Children's Aid Society in New Oxford, supervised the work of clinical interns and therapists, presented widely on mental health issues in children, and taught graduate courses in counselor training programs. He currently maintains a private practice in Adams County, Pennsylvania and is an adjunct professor of counselor education at McDaniel College in Maryland.
Emphasizing solution-oriented strategies and personal growth, Rocky has a particular interest in treating conduct disturbances in youth, as well as working intensively in the area of parent-child relationship building and reunification.
